The Singapore Leaders of Tomorrow (SLoT) Forum is the island city-state’s first inter-generational and inter-cultural leadership summit in biotechnology, where the nation’s leading minds in biotechnology converge and discuss about the ‘gaps’ in the biotech industry be it Research & innovation gap, Funding gap or Public Perception gap. It is being held on October 19th 2016 at Fusionopolis, Singapore.

The SLoT Forum is based on the format of the acclaimed GapSummit, organized by Global Biotech Revolution, a not-for-profit organization founded by young bio-leaders, that is based at Cambridge, United Kingdom.

The SLoT Forum is organized by a dynamic regional team based in Singapore along with Biotechin.Asia being the key supporting partner.

The theme for this year’s inaugural SLoT Forum is “Addressing Asian Phenotypic Diseases” and aims to connect the biotech think-tanks, clinical and medical health professionals, industrial leaders and research pioneers who are going to become the young bio-leaders of tomorrow and initiate a discussion about the gaps in the sector.

Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) will be competitively selected from across the universities and institutes in Singapore. These young visionaries will include polytechnic students, undergraduate and graduate students, professional students, postdoctoral fellows in life sciences, medicine, law, policy, healthcare, and business. During the event, current leaders will have the opportunity to share experiences and challenges, debate with future leaders, and project their vision of the future of biotechnology. These focused and motivated bio-leaders in turn will help advance the biotech and healthcare ecosystem in Singapore and help shape the global bioeconomy.

Voices of Tomorrow (VoT) Competition
